Tunbridge Wells

Towns & Villages

Lying in the unspoilt beauty of the Weald countryside, many small towns and villages still retain the essence of the English countryside with a long history of hop-picking and brewing ale or beer.

Vineyards and orchards abound and make for a beautiful scenic drive or tour in the blossomed filled and green countryside, delighting any visitor who passes through. Information on walks can be found on the Walking page.

The medieval market town of Cranbrook and picturesque villages such as Goudhurst, Hawkhurst, Brenchley and Lamberhurst, make pleasant stopping points on a tour of the Weald in West Kent.

These towns and villages offer independant shops, restaurants and village pubs serving local food and are within a short drive of the main centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells.

The Weald is also home to a variety of spectacular historic houses, exceptional churches and landscaped gardens.

You can plan your own tour of the Tunbridge Wells area using the "My Itinerary" tool.
