Things To Do With The Children

Royal Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area has plenty to keep children of all ages entertained with adventure play areas, fun with arts and crafts, play zones and great value attractions.

For the adventurous Bowles Outdoor Centre offers courses in Rock Climbing, Canoeing and Skiing on the dry Ski slope.

There is plenty to do at  Bedgebury Forest and Pinetum with the forest adventure Tree Top trail Go Ape and for the younger children there is the challenging adventure play area. Alternatively, explore the Forest by bike, cycle hire is available for the whole family.

There are several activity centres to choose from. Indoor and Outdoor activities at MinorMania will keep them occupied whatever the weather. OurSpace children's play centre is designed to let them blow off steam.

For the more creative why not visit Glazy Daisy craft studio where you can have a go at jewellery making ,pottery, painting or make your own teddy bear. At  Slap 'n' Dash children of all ages are welcome.

Step back in time and enjoy a nostalgic trip on a steam train on the Spa Valley Railway travelling through the beautiful Kent and Sussex countryside. There is a programme of special events for the whole family throughout the year.
