Royal Tunbridge Wells has been welcoming visitors for 400 years and we hope that you too will feel welcome here and enjoy your stay in the Tunbridge Wells area.

Car Parking

Cars displaying an orange or blue badge can park free of charge in any of the town's car parks. There are also wider parking bays available for badge holders in the town's main public car parks. To download a map showing the main car parks in the town, click here.

Public Conveniences

There are several disabled facilities throughout Royal Tunbridge Wells which are clearly marked on the town. To download the map, click here. RADAR locks are fitted to these public conveniences. Keys are available from the Tourist Information Centre in the Pantiles.

Accommodation

Accommodation providers are asked to provide details of any facilities for visitors with disabilities they may have available when submitting details of their property for the Where to Stay section of this website. If there are facilities available these are clearly indicated in the Facilities listing for each accommodation establishment. We do however urge you to check with your chosen establishment the actual nature of these facilities and to discuss any special requirements you may have before booking your accommodation. Disabled access at visitor attractions in the area is also indicated on the individual listing. Please check with the attraction direct to confirm the exact nature of these facilities before setting out.

Shopmobility

Manual chairs, powered chairs and scooters are available for loan or hire from Royal Victoria Place shopping centre. Please contact Shopmobility direct on 01892 544355, Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm for further information.
