Camping & Caravan Sites in Tunbridge Wells

Imagine playing, relaxing, cooking, sleeping in the fresh open country air all holiday...Idyllic!

This can all be achieved by camping in Tunbridge Wells where we have rolling hills, farmland, orchards, woods, meadows and more of the Garden of England.

The rural hinterland is but a short drive from the Royal Tunbridge Wells spa town and is scattered with typical English villages, peppered with pubs, village stores, farm shops, markets and wineries selling local produce for your indulgence.

You can drive, cycle or walk to explore the best of what is on offer in the region and taste as much of our local food as you can as it is among the best in the country.

You can find out more about glorious Kent food in our food & drink section, you will not be disappointed!

Good old fashioned country tramping

Camping in Tunbridge Wells is holidaying at its traditional best so no big water slides or sparkly cabaret stars here!

Campsites might run their own more time honoured activities aside from relaxation like feeding the chickens or stroking the donkeys.

Of course exploring the surrounding countryside is mostly all one needs when camping.

In Tunbridge Wells camping can be found at nearby Manor Court Farm B&B in Ashurst, a 10 minute drive from the town centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Sunninglye Farm is near Lamberhurst and has 7 glamping tents. Bewl Water country park is also near Lamberhurst and has a camp site near the gorgeous reservoir.

Apple Acres Caravan and Camping is childfree site at Southborough

Cedar Gables is off the A21 at Flimwell near to Bedgebury Forest & Pinetum and Bewl Water Country Park.

The Hop Farm is in Paddock Wood which has plenty of pitches and is attached to a small adventure park.

St Ives Farm near the Ashdown Forest in Hartfield (close to Pooh Corner) is a small family run site with fishing lakes.

For the Bedgebury Forest Live Concerts you can camp at Bedgebury Camping, no caravans but they do take campervans and tents.  This exclusive site is only open for 28 days of the year during summer in the gorgeous Wealden countryside near Goudhurst.

Camping shops can be found in Royal Tunbridge Wells and Cranbrook. Bottled gas can be obtained from a number of garages and country stores.

Not all sites take caravans so please check the details in our Camping and Caravanning listings. As far as we know these are not Caravan Club members only sites.
