Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom 2017

This year, 2017, Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom is making its debut in the local Open Gardens scheme. We have teamed up with Hospice in the Weald to help them launch their Open Gardens event in the town of Royal Tunbridge Wells.

The Open Gardens tour will allow residents and visitors to Royal Tunbridge Wells a rare chance to have a look at some of the most special gardens in town and help raise funds for both organisations.

The Private Gardens of Royal Tunbridge Wells

We have a number of gardens ready to participate, a mix of residential gardens, the historic Calverley Park Crescent and Halliwell Nursing Home near Dunorlan Park.

There is a traditional English floral summer front garden as well as a more complex domain with pool, vegetable patch and a chicken run! Most of the gardens have admirable herbaceous borders.

Besides beautiful flowers to view there will be a raffle, plant sale and cream teas to enjoy as you make your way around the various gardens in the tour.

4th June - It’s A Date!

Open Gardens raised over £30,000 last year which goes towards the £7million needed annually for Hospice in the Weald to maintain its vital services to our community.

90 pence of every £1 raised goes directly to patient care. Funds raised for the Bloom campaign will help us to install more floral displays in the town centre, like planters and hanging baskets.
