Cranbrook Goes Nuts in May

High Street
TN17 3EN

Part of the Chelsea Fringe festival of events, this street festival welcomes food and plant lovers alike to the medieval market town of Cranbrook in the Heart of Kent.

Enjoy the ‘Hanging Gardens’ planters, Roger Daniels stickmaker, PandG natural fibre hats, Peachy Pottery, Forget me Not jewellery, Bijoux bibelot glass, and Bamboo garden buildings as well as 50+ street stalls including plant nurseries, herbs, wood carving, local wine and cider, Garden Living artefacts, Cottrell Joinery’s planters, beeswax food wraps, Roundwood Rings and more!

Activities for children will be crafts based on this year's Bee theme, face-painting and spraycan workshops. Back by popular demand is Sarah Gillings of UCanSpray who will create another huge and beautiful work of art on the spot, with workshops too.

Local food & drinks: Larkins Chutney, O’er the Moon fudge and Home Grown Honey, May Farm Luxury Ice Cream using local fruit, Cranbrook Conserves, and an incredible range of local breads; Naked Espresso, Elizabeth Santer Creative Catering and Little Bar Co plus local Hog Roast and Cranbrook’s historic pubs and cute cafés.

Music and dance from Headcorn Ukulele Band, the Weald of Kent Morris, and more local bands to be confirmed.

Take this chance to stay a while in the countryside and visit the local historic attractions. Climb to the top of Cranbrook’s amazing working windmill, visit the museum for hands-on activities for all the family and climb the tower of St Dunstan’s Church, the beautiful ‘Cathedral of the Weald’.
